As the weather heats up, the urge to take a fast car for a cruise on an empty highway grows stronger. Is that just us? We didn’t think so.

Luckily for all of us, this year is shaping up to be a standout in terms of high-performance vehicle releases. We’ve compiled a list of the most exciting upcoming rides, as well as a few that are already available if you just can’t wait.

Tesla Model S

When you think of sporty electric vehicles, one of the first to come to mind is the Tesla Model S Plaid. This vehicle combines power and performance with the eco-friendliness of an EV, with a peak output of over 1,000-horsepower and a top speed of 200 mph. 2022 Kia Stinger GT-Line

The Kia Stinger, already a powerhouse in its class, has stepped up its game even more with the 2022 GT-Line. Now featuring a 300-horsepower, 2.5 L turbocharged engine, the Stinger GT will make a strong statement wherever it goes. 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat (Coming early 2021)

The upcoming Audi e-tron GT is an incredible blend of technology and excitement. With an available boost mode, this sedan reaches 522-horsepower and can go from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds. Its sleek body shape and aggressive nose are modern but give a hint of the power underneath. And of course, being an Audi, the e-tron GT has all the luxuries you need, including a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit and a sculpted interior.
