The NASCAR Xfinity Series has a new sponsor hitting the track. Tire Pros, the largest franchise network of independent tire dealers in the country, has announced a partnership with championship-winning team JR Motorsports and its No. 8 Chevrolet.

A subsidiary of American Tire Distributors, Tire Pros includes over 600 independent and locally owned tire stores across the United States and serves thousands of customers. Tire Pros will be partnering with JR Motorsports on and off the track, exposing the brand to a loyal and enthusiastic NASCAR fan base.

Although this is Tire Pros’ first step into the sport, they are partnering with NASCAR royalty in JR Motorsports owners Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his sister, Kelley Earnhardt Miller.  Son of seven-time champion Dale Earnhardt – Earnhardt Jr. has had incredible success as both a driver and team owner. He is a two-time Daytona 500 winner and a two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion. JR Motorsports has won the Xfinity Series championship three times and has propelled the careers of many of the sport’s brightest young stars, including reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott.

Tire Pros will be the primary sponsor of the No. 8 Chevrolet for six races in the 2021 season. Josh Berry will pilot the car for four races, and rookie Sam Mayer will take over in the remaining two races, including the season finale at Phoenix Raceway. Berry’s first race in the Tire Pros Chevrolet was at Atlanta Motor Speedway, where a spin into the infield grass ended his day early.

The next race for Berry and Tire Pros will be May 8 at Darlington Raceway for their Official Throwback Weekend. Tire Pros and JR Motorsports will be joining the fun by donning a throwback paint scheme based on one Earnhardt drove when he won the 2001 July Daytona race.
