Being Chevrolet’s prized flagship for the past 60 years, you can always expect the Corvette to bring its A-game every year. This mid-engine supercar has made a much smoother riding cabin for its driver so it can better mimic a luxury vehicle while keeping all its performance flair. The rear cabin can fit two golf bags’ worth of space in the coupe variant and it comes with a leather and metal trim. Clocking in its 0-60 at around 2.8 seconds, the 3LT trim is to start at around $75,000. If you’re looking for an entry into the supercar market, the Corvette remains an excellent choice.

2022 Cadillac CT5 Blackwing

Cadillac’s recent release will thrill longtime fans. This supercharged vehicle has a 6.2L V8 and is listed as their most powerful vehicle to date. This luxury muscle car can get to 0-60 in 3.2 seconds and comes in both an automatic and manual variant. It will also be one of Cadillac’s last vehicles in the gas era of the auto industry. Price-wise, it’s on the lower end of this list, with its base model at $84,900. Fans of the Standard of the World will be happily held over with this entry until the highly anticipated LYRIQ and CELESTIQ eventually hit the streets.

2022 GMC Hummer EV

While the Hummer of yesteryear is a bit of a controversial figure for car enthusiasts, this new Hummer already appears universally loved. Whether it’s an SUV or truck, depending on your preferences, this beast can get 350 miles per charge and go 0-60 in 3 seconds flat. Its undercarriage camera and ability to drive diagonally (or “crab walk”) make this vehicle an off-roader’s dream machine while also being able to match the performance of most sports cars in the process. If you need something that does everything well, you might want a Hummer. At over $110,000 for the Edition One, expect big things from this ultimate Swiss army knife.

2022 Mercedes Benz EQS

Mercedes’ EQS is their first swing at this wave in the EV market. The electric pinstripe exterior looks completely next-gen and like something out of a sci-fi movie. Their new platform promises a range of 485 miles and can go 0-60 in 5.5 seconds. Its interior carries over the same focus on hyper luxury that we’ve come to expect from Mercedes’ S-Classes, with a giant infotainment system (coined the “hyperscreen”) and a 24 gigabyte, 8-core processor to handle all the tech and ambient lighting. At an estimated price of $124,000, we can expect Mercedes to be a top-line luxury EV provider for years to come.

2022 Audi E-Tron RS

Audi fans have been waiting for this one since 2018, and the hype couldn’t be any stronger. Their introduction to the EV market is expected to go 0-60 in 3.1 seconds and have a 232-mile range. It also is one of the few electric vehicles to have a two-speed transmission, making it great for highway cruising. You can expect this supercar to start at around $139,000.

2021 Lucid Air: Dream Edition

Being the new kid on the block, Lucid needed to not pull any punches when it made its debut on the luxury EV market, and boy did it deliver. With 1080 estimated horsepower that can get to 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and a whopping 517-mile range, this airy offering is looking to be a leader in the new generation of vehicles. With its wood and leather interior, 21-speaker surround system, and a beautiful glass canopy roof, the Dream Edition looks to have all the luxury features that you’d expect from masterclass makers like Bentley. At around $160,000+, it looks to command a hefty price as well.  Here’s to hoping the Dream becomes a reality to its drivers.

2022 Mercedes-Maybach S680 4Mat

It’s hard to find a classier lineup than Mercedes’ Maybach throughout the years. This status symbol is as lux as it gets, with reclining passenger seats, a champagne fridge, and individual infotainment systems for the passengers. The mini limo has a V12 engine powering it and goes 0-60 in 4.4 seconds. If you want to take a back seat and have your driver do the heavy lifting, the Maybach is as executive as it gets. You can expect to pay an executive’s salary too, as this mega luxury machine starts at $215,000.

2022 Tesla Roadster

From the mind of the most eccentric billionaire alive today, the 2022 Tesla Roadster looks to be Elon Musk’s shining vision for Tesla. Claims of this speed demon getting 0-60 in 1.9 seconds are flying around, and its estimated 620 miles per charge range gives it some of the best specs of any vehicle to date, let alone an EV. If you want the Founder Series, you’ll have to put down a $250,000 deposit just to hold your place in line. If that doesn’t scream high-roller, I don’t know what will.

2022 Bentley Continental GT Speed

If you can even consider getting this Bentley, you’ve earned a spot at the high-roller’s table. The definitive leader in luxury-focused automotive vehicles alongside its rival Rolls Royce, the Continental continues the tradition with its W12 engine, embroidered headrests, diamond-quilted seats, and a top-of-the-line infotainment system. Its handling and performance are nothing to scoff at either, with a 0-06 speed of 3.5 seconds and a buttery rear axle that promises exceptional acceleration and handling. You can expect to pay a few fortunes for all these luxuries, as this supercar starts at $302K.

2022 Lamborghini Countach

Lamborghini doesn’t usually bring back their vintage models, but they made an exception for this fan favorite. The legendary name-brand, performance-focused kingpin made a supercar that gets up to 211mph and is their first hybrid. If you’re wanting one of your own, you’d be out of luck, as only 112 will be made and have already sold out. At $2.5 million a pop, you’d need the moon and then some before asking “when Lambo” on this special model.

These supercars of 2022 are sure to excite and delight any driver fortunate enough to own one. Are any of these your dream vehicle? Let us know in the comments below. If you’re in the market for a swanky new ride, start your search with BestRide today.
