On the heels of last year’s debut of Nissan Color Studio trim on the funky Juke, the Versa Note now offers similar options for visual distinction.
What Is It?
The Versa Note is Nissan’s smallest hatchback. It competes with the Toyota Yaris, Honda Fit, Chevrolet Sonic and others, and it’s aimed at a youthful market. So it’s logical that Nissan would expand the Color Studio accent package that debuted at last year’s LA Auto Show on the Juke to add some flair to the Versa Note.
What Nissan Says:
Pierre Loing, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc:
“As we found with JUKE, a little color – or a lot – dramatically changes the look of a vehicle and there’s no easier way to make a ride stand out than the convenient, affordable Color Studio process. We believe Versa Note owners are going to embrace the concept just as much as JUKE owners do.”
What’s New For 2016:
- Six colors – Black, White, Red, Black-Purple, Orange and Carbon Fiber Look – can be ordered separately to spice up the Versa Note inside and out. (One color for all accents, please.)
- No limitation on availability, the Color Studio accents can be applied even to the base Versa Note S
- Otherwise, the 2016 Versa Note adds two new paint color and revised standard-equipment levels
When Will It Go On Sale?
The Versa Note was added to the Color Studio site on November 17.
