Bestride.com features over 2.5 million vehicles in all 50 states in the US.
Car shoppers are spending more and more time online before making a purchase. Seventy-one percent of consumers use the internet to shop for new and used vehicles, double the usage of any other source. Before the actual visit to the dealership, many users have spent hours on multiple websites - researching, comparing, asking questions. Consumers spend more than 18 hours online researching new and used vehicle before purchase. Even after a purchase, users are going online to post photos of their new car and share their experiences at the dealerships; about one in every four buyers uses social media to discuss the purchase experience (Dealer.com report). At the same time that online shoppers are demanding a straightforward (even enjoyable) experience, there is an increasing amount of relevant information out there and a growing number of websites competing for their attention. But more choices can mean sifting through an overwhelming number of websites, and there is still a need for a single, trusted source where the customer is supported for the entire journey, from idea to purchase, and beyond.
BestRide.com is the new destination for online car shoppers, where customers will find everything they need in one place. BestRide.com offers nationwide inventory, the latest research tools, and a powerful search engine, allowing you to research and compare models with our buying guides, or target a search to find a specific car and the best dealer near you. You can even build your dream car and find out which local dealer has it ready to go. No matter where you are in the car-buying process, BestRide.com will help you find your next car.
Start Your Search – All you need to do is enter your zip code and you’re ready to start searching. Narrow your search by geographical distance, by make and model; search for new, used, and certified pre-owned cars, or any combination of the three. Let’s find your car!
For a more focused initial search, begin your search at the advanced page. This is a good place to start if you are still open to different models, but are interested in specific features—for example, a fuel-efficient car, an SUV under $15,000, or a convertible with heated seats and satellite radio.
Scan your results to see what’s out there, refine your search in the left rail as needed, and save vehicles you want to compare later. If you’ve found what you’re looking for, click and continue to the vehicle description page, but you can also contact the dealership directly from here.
Reach out to the dealer without leaving the search results page. As soon as you’ve found a vehicle you’re interested in, click the Email Dealer button. A modal window will pop up and you are a click away from making contact with the dealer. Keep it simple by providing the minimum information or ask more specific questions in the optional section toward the bottom. And if you just prefer to call the dealer, the phone number and the stock number to reference are right there on the search results page.
Start your comparison right from the search results page. Click the Compare checkbox to add a vehicle (up to three) to your comparison group, which will update dynamically in a box to the right of the results. Once you’re ready, click the Compare button at the bottom of your list.
Given all models you could choose from and the dizzying amount of options associated with each, the ability to do side-by-side comparison is invaluable. Compare and contrast up to four cars at once, scanning, identifying and highlighting the features that are important to you. This tool will help you get closer to that perfect vehicle.
As an alternative to a targeted search, try browsing a list of makes, vehicle styles, and locations. You can drill down to a specific state, see all the convertibles in your area, or return every local Subaru for sale in just one click. This page also lets you get a sense of the volume (note the numbers in parentheses) of vehicles in that category.
Everything you need to know before reaching out to the dealer is here: photos & videos, a complete list of vehicle features, technical specifications, model reviews, dealer hours and location. Before your visit to the dealer take advantage of the loan calculator and the trade-in evaluator.

The BestRide.com team will continue to optimize the customer’s online car shopping journey, but we also have plans for innovation in several areas: Integrating social media (38% of new vehicle buyers use social media to research their next vehicle purchase - Dealer.com report, January 2012) and leveraging the wisdom (and purchasing power) of crowds; providing more local data for users around trends and pricing in their specific area; and a customized “My Garage” page, where users can save their favorite vehicles to the site, follow news on specific makes and models, get alerts about availability or price changes, and be reminded when their vehicle is due for servicing.
In all, BestRide.com aims to help users find their next car by giving them the tools they need at every stage of their car search, all on a cleanly-designed site built with the user in mind. Whether they are browsing the latest designs, researching models that fit their budget, or are ready to find a dealer and take a test drive, BestRide can help.
