Tracy Morgan rolled up in a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster this week and took some photos with fans.
It is good to see Tracy Morgan well enough to drive. About a year ago the actor was almost killed and did suffer serious injuries in an accident that claimed the life of his best friend, James McNair. His Mercedes limo bus was travelling on the New Jersey Turnpike when it was involved in a six-vehicle crash. Morgan’s vehicle was hit from behind by a tractor-trailer. Morgan suffered multiple broken bones and was in a coma for weeks. He is still recovering.
Morgan is no stranger to health issues. Prior to the crash, he had a kidney transplant and reportedly suffers from diabetes. Morgan’s acting and comedy have always been closely linked. He has been a Saturday Night Live cast member, was a regular on 30-Rock, and has appeared I feature films.
The Lamborghini LP-700-4 Aventador Roadster that Morgan drove up in this past week is one of approximately 6,500 Aventadors that will be built. It is constructed from carbon-fiber and alloys to keep weight down and is powered by a 12-cylinder engine capable of producing nearly 700 hp. Its top speed is 217 miles per hour, which we trust Morgan will not testing in New York.
