There’s nothing more annoying than buying a brand new entry-luxury car and then having wires hanging all over the interior to charge your phone. The 2015 Cadillac ATS, and later, the 2015 Cadillac CTS and 2015 Cadillac Escalade will feature a built-in Powermat wireless charger on all models equipped with the CUE system.
There’s no word on pricing for the CUE system for 2015 just yet, but for the 2014 Cadillac ATS, CUE adds $1,350 to the base price.
Powermat charges your smartphone via a pad you simply place your phone on top of. Charging is automatic and completely wireless.
