It’s almost fall. Time for warm sweaters, pumpkin spice everything, and football. Nissan is marking the occasion with the latest in its ongoing Heisman House campaign and this year there are a few new recruits on the roster.
This is the eighth year of the campaign and it features three new pledges entering the 2018 Nissan Heisman House. This is an entirely made up fraternity whose members are all winners of the famous Heisman trophy.
The latest members to enter the fold are Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma, 2017), Bo Jackson (Auburn, 1985) and Gino Torretta (Miami, 1992). They join returning Heisman House members Herschel Walker (Georgia, 1982), Mike Rozier (Nebraska, 1983), Barry Sanders (Oklahoma State, 1988), Charles Woodson (Michigan, 1997), Tim Tebow (Florida, 2007), Marcus Mariota (Oregon, 2014) and Derrick Henry (Alabama, 2015).
The crew made their debut in “Calling All Heismans,” which ran during the college football season opener between Purdue and Northwestern. A total of seven 45-second spots will run throughout the season with an assortment of Nissan vehicles and technologies featured in each ad.
The debut spot featured a Nissan Titan pickup truck with additional vehicles including the Nissan Altima, Nissan Kicks, and Nissan Rogue slated for future spots. Nissan Intelligent Mobility, which includes driver assistance features like ProPilot Assist, will also be featured.
The campaign also includes a chance for fans to enter two sweepstakes. The first includes a special Nissan Titan configurator that lets you design, and possibly win, your very own team-themed Nissan Titan. There’s also a chance to win two tickets to attend this year’s Heisman Trophy Award Ceremony in New York City on December 8.
Even if you don’t win, there’s still a chance to get in on the Heisman action. The Nissan Heisman House Tour, which includes a mock Heisman House, will be traveling to colleges across the country. Fans will be able to take pictures with the trophy and even meet some of the winners as well as ESPN personalities.
Football season is only just beginning and Nissan is ready to help you make the most of your college football experience.
