The owner brought the car back to the dealership — originally called Luck Motor Company — on the very day it was purchased 59 years ago.

It’s in absolutely stunning condition, and it came along with a ton of paperwork including the original brochure, the invoice and the 1,000-mile coupon for service.1955-chevrolet-bestride-4

The 1955 Chevrolet sold for $2,155.70, plus $267.10 worth of optional equipment, including a heater, the gorgeous two-tone India Ivory over Skyline Blue paint, and the Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission.

The original owner traded a 1949 Chevrolet on the new 1955 Chevrolet, which took $700 off the sale price.

There are a handful of additional photos of the car’s documentation at Luck Chevrolet’s Facebook page.
