Luck Chevrolet in Ashland, Virginia, has been finding new homes for Chevrolet cars and trucks since 1916. Yesterday, the dealership reunited with a car it sold back before seatbelts, a gorgeous 1955 Chevrolet 210 coupe.
The owner brought the car back to the dealership — originally called Luck Motor Company — on the very day it was purchased 59 years ago.
The 1955 Chevrolet sold for $2,155.70, plus $267.10 worth of optional equipment, including a heater, the gorgeous two-tone India Ivory over Skyline Blue paint, and the Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission.
The original owner traded a 1949 Chevrolet on the new 1955 Chevrolet, which took $700 off the sale price.
There are a handful of additional photos of the car’s documentation at Luck Chevrolet’s Facebook page.
