The Oracle of Omaha has donated his 2006 Cadillac DTS to charity. It will be auctioned off this week and you can be the lucky bidder that takes it home.
If you have always wanted to own a huge, used, front wheel drive Cadillac with some start power, now is your chance. This low mileage DTS has been driven very gently by Mr. Buffett, who is not know to do smoky burnouts when leaving the Chrome Lounge late at night. Just like a Mercedes AMG engine, this Cadillac will come signed. Mr. Buffett will not only add his John Hancock, he will hand you the keys if you choose to take delivery in Omaha. The video below features an appraisal of the DTS by Antique Roadshow’s Leslie and Leigh Keno.
The sale of the car will go to support Girls Incorporated, a non-profit organization that helps inspire girls to be “Strong, Smart, and Bold.” Here at BestRide.com you can buy a Cadillac DTS like this all day long for about twelve grand, but the organizers hope the star power of Mr. Buffett will bring in a few more Benjamins for this one. The group is planning an $18.5 million building project.
If you would like to bid, act fast. The bidding is already underway and ends February 19th. Visit www.proxibid.com/girlsinc to learn more and place your bid.
