The Quincy Patriot-Ledger reports that an unidentified man in the Massachusetts town of Braintree is facing a hearing for driving a Maserati Granturismo that looks way too much like a police car.
Deputy Chief Wayne Foster tells The Quincy Patriot-Ledger the Granturismo was painted in all-too-familiar black and white livery with a police-style shield on the doors and police-like decals.

Where “Braintree Police” should go, though, the offending Maserati driver’s decal warned “Decepticons Punish and Enslave,” in reference to the bad guys from the action figures/cartoon/film franchise Transformers.
The driver noted that he was actually assisting police “because other drivers noticed him and slowed down, thinking it was a police vehicle.”
The driver summoned to a hearing before the Clerk Magistrate to face a charge of impersonating a police officer.
No word on whether Braintree police will be bringing charges against these guys for impersonating blues musicians:
