Nissan is expanding the Pathfinder lineup with a new Rock Creek Edition that goes on sale this spring. It shows off unique interior and exterior elements that give this Pathfinder a more rugged look than the rest of the Pathfinder range.
Outside, there are dark 18-inch wheels with all-season tires, a black mesh grille, black roof rails, black door handles, and black sideview mirrors. Nissan also added black accents to the front and rear fascias, a black license plate finisher, black fenders, and even unique black badging on the front doors.
The theme continues on the inside with Rock Creek Edition two-tone seating and badging and contrast stitching on the seats, door, console lid, and steering wheel. There is also premium metallic interior trim.
Standard features for the Rock Creek Edition include a trailer tow hitch and harness and splash guards. Whether you choose four-wheel or front-wheel drive, the Pathfinder can tow up to 6,000 pounds.
There are two option packages available depending on which Pathfinder trim level you choose. The SV trim has an available Technology package that includes NissanConnect with navigation and services, SiriusXM traffic, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, and heated outside mirrors. The Technology Package adds $980 to the bottom line.
If you opt for the SL trim, then you can add the Premium Package for $2,110. This adds a Bose 13-speaker premium audio system and a power panoramic moonroof.
The 2019 Nissan Pathfinder is available in a range of four trims. Every Pathfinder comes standard with a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque paired to a continuously variable automatic transmission.
Three rows of seating offer room for seven passengers with the EZ Flex Seating System. This makes accessing the third row easier with a second row that tilts and slides forward, even with an empty child seat still installed. The Pathfinder also includes standard automatic emergency braking and rear door alert that helps make sure nothing is forgotten in the rear seats.
The Rock Creek Edition package is available on the SV and SL trims of the Pathfinder for $995.
