BMW showed off three different iterations of the 2016 BMW 6 Series in Detroit, including the BMW 6 Series Convertible, BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe, and the BMW M6 Convertible. The cars feature power offerings that range from a 315 hp Twin Turbo inline six, up to a 4.4-liter Twin Turbo V-8, good for 560hp and a zero to 60 time somewhere near four seconds.

“Over three generations, the BMW 6 Series has defined that unique blend of style and elegance,” said Dr. Ian Robertson, head of sales and marketing of BMW Group in Germany and board member of BMW North America, “with the performance and handling that one would expect of The Ultimate Driving Machine.
“These are clearly the sportiest and most luxurious 6 Series vehicles we have ever built,” he continued.
When Does It Go On Sale?
BMW will offer the 2016 BMW 6 Series to North American customers beginning in the spring of 2015.
